1st. DAY: Warm Up Day skiing the Famous Transfagarasan
- 11:00 AM - arrival at Balea Cascada, cable car station
- 12:00 PM - check in at Balea Lac Chalet - 2050m altitude
- 01:00 - 02:00 PM - lunch
- 01:30 - 05:00 PM - skiing the Transfagarasan / Balea Lac to Balea Cascada, from the top station to the bottom station of the cable car - approx. 900m in vertical drop x 2 runs
- 06:00 PM - dinner
- 07:30 PM - briefing for the next day
2nd. DAY: Ski Touring to the Doamnei Glaciar Lake
- 08:00 AM - breakfast
- 09:00 AM - start to Doamnei Col. on skins
- 10:00 AM - ski down to Doamnei Lake
- 12:00 PM - skin up to the Col.
- 01:00 PM - start skiing towards the chalet
- 01:30 PM - lunch
- 02:30 PM - go through the tunnel on the south side and ski there till dawn
- 05:30 PM - walk the tunnel back to the chalet
- 07:00 PM - dinner
3rd. DAY: Skinning Towards 2500m altitude
- 08:00 AM - breakfast
- 09:00 AM - start towards higher altitude (depending on the snow conditions and avalanche danger we decide the route)
- 01:00 PM - lunch an the chalet
- 02:30 PM - continue with skinning towards higher altitude and good ski snow
- 05:00 PM - ski down towards the chalet
- 07:00 PM - dinner
4th. DAY: The trek to Negoiu Chalet
- 08:00 AM - breakfast
- 09:00 AM - moving down the luggage with the cable car to the bottom station
- 09:30 AM - ski down to the bottom station
- 11:00 AM - start driving towards Porumbacu de Sus
- 12:00 PM - lunch in Porumbacu de Sus (guest house where we leave most of the luggages and cars)
- 12:45 PM - start driving with off-road vehicles towards the trail to Negoiu (travel light)
- 02:00 PM - start skinning the trail up to Negoiu
- 05:30 PM - check-in Negoiu Chalet
- 07:00 PM - dinner
5th. DAY: Skitouring the Serbota Valley
- 08:00 AM - breakfast
- 09:00 AM - start skinning towards Scara ridge
- 11:00 AM - ski down from Scara Col.
- 12:30 PM - mountain snack for lunch
- 02:00 PM - ski Puha Valley
- 03:00 PM - start towards Negoiu Chalet
- 04:30 PM - ski down to Porumbacu de Sus road
- 05:30 PM - meet with off-road vehicles
- 05:30 PM - startwith off-road vehicles towards the guest house in Porumbacu de Sus

6th. DAY: Transfer to the city

For special dates and rates your group should consist in minimum 8 person.
Yes. We will try to coordinate so you fit in a group that will match your level.
Professional video-guides are available on request to ski with your group and capture the day’s adventures on digital video. Enquire about this service at our counter when booking or confirming your day’s heli-skiing.
The best snow in our mountains you can find between the middle of January until mid March.
Half of the payment needs to be paid via bank transfer as soon as possible in order to guarantee your reservation. Your reservation will only be fully confirmed once the payment has been made.
The other half needs to be paid in cash at our mountain chalet before or after our program.
The cars are parked in a safe location in Muntele Mic parking lot and easily accessible on skis or skidoo from your accommodation.
Extra meters we calculate with 17 eur/pers/100 m vertical drop.
You will receive the money back except the amount you paid for accommodation, food, helicopter reservation, your mountain guide. We are refunding 15 Eur/pers/100 m of vertical drop that we do not accomplish. For example on the package that guarantees 5000m in vertical drop, in case of not flying 2000m out of them then we will refund you 300eur.
The groups must have a basic mountain experience and a moderate physical condition in order to be able to maintain a relatively short waiting time.
We access a wide range of terrain and runs and depending on the snow safety and conditions we ride different runs and both vertical and length an average of 500m vertical/ run can be taken into consideration.

Wish we could give more than 5 stars. Amazing experience with Heliski Romania. As always in the mountains, you need a little luck with mother nature. And yes, luck was on our side. But besides that the crew did a wonderful job. We hope to come back in the future.

What an unforgettable experience. The team went above and beyond at every single moment to make our stay truly extraordinary. It was a real pleasure to fly and ride the beautiful mountains… you will experience lots of great views and will be the only one out there except shepards and their herds :) We Ride Romania will host you with their warm hearted mentality, you feel welcome from the first second on arrival. We visited Muntele Mic last week and had an amazing experience! Cristi, our host, was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Our guide, Catri, was fantastic—leading us to some incredible terrain and giving us the freedom to choose our routes.
We had a one-day heli-skiing experience, which was super cool, along with two days of skiing in the resort. The resort itself is small and simple, nothing like the big Alpine destinations, but it has a great family-friendly atmosphere and, best of all, no crowds! While snow conditions weren’t perfect, we still found some great and untouched powder lines.
The experience was well worth the money, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year! ⛷️❄️🚁

It was best of best experience for me.
All the staff were cooperative, kind, fun, and really great.
The weather was good, and I was able to experience the best scenery in the best environment.
The accommodation is also very nice, delicious food, nice rooms, and great. I definitely want to participate again! That's what I think.
