Spectacular operation at the Vidraru Dam: tens of tons moved by helicopter
Recently, our helicopter was contracted for a HESLO (Helicopter External Sling Load Operation) at the Vidraru Dam.
The mission supported the ongoing modernization works, where critical components had to be transported and positioned in areas with extremely limited access near the water intake.
These operations require precise flying, careful coordination on the ground, and experienced crews trained for external load missions. It was a complex and rewarding project carried out in one of Romania’s most iconic locations.
